If you’re a homeschooling parent looking for a math curriculum for your kids that’s user friendly, affordable, and effective, you need to check out CTC Math!

Being a homeschooling parent is not for the weak of heart. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t change it for the world, but having to be in charge of ALL THE THINGS while while being a work at home mom is not exactly easy. I need to schedule and keep track of all the social get togethers, select and implement appropriate curriculum for 2 children, attempt to maintain a somewhat clean home and cook meals (hello, life skills lessons!), and so on. You know what I mean, right? And, I’m sure you’re in agreement that life gets busy and exhausting.

When it comes to choosing homeschool curriculum, there are some subjects that I can teach my two elementary-age boys together. Homeschool math, though? They’re on very different levels (which is totally ok and expected) and, while I could take the time to teach them their math curriculum, 1-on-1, each day, that’s not always feasible and, let’s be honest, it wouldn’t always be a pleasant experience for myself OR my kids. We’ve recently implemented CTC Math into our daily schedule and, let me tell you, it’s been a game changer for our busy family!

CTC Math in a Nutshell

CTC Math is a membership-based, full online math curriculum covering grades K-12. With a CTC Math Membership, you receive access to ALL lessons and grade levels so your kids are free to review previous grades/lessons if they wish and are not limited to progressing past their grade level. For more details, visit the CTC Math Homepage for answers to FAQs, read testimonials, find out how the program works, and more.

Love that CTC Math even included extra numbers and a “slash” to help with regrouping!

Why my Busy Family Loves the CTC Math Curriculum

  • It’s User Friendly
    • I have my own parent area within the CTC Math website and my kids each have their own login information. In the parent area, I can assign my kids certain lessons or then can just head over to their grade-level area and continue working from where they previously left off. I love that I can specify a “pass” percentage for each lesson and that I can view my kid’s progress through weekly emailed reports and in the parent area. If I want to get super detailed, I can even view lesson history by the minute. Isn’t that cool?!
    • The CTC Math platform can be used across a variety of devices, too! My kids use their laptops to complete their lessons, but it can also be accessed on tablets, iPads, iPhones, and android devices as well.

You have to admit, being able to see your child’s progress…down to the minute…is pretty cool!

I gotta take a minute to share with you the story of our real-life testing of the “user friendliness” of CTC Math and, really, the moment that I realized how great this homeschool math curriculum really is for our busy family. We had recently experienced a death in the family. Without getting into the details, I needed to travel to help my extended family take care of some things. At the time, my husband was still working from home, so our kids could stay at home. I just needed to figure out their lessons for the week.

I created some quick lesson plans with self-led activities and, thanks to CTC Math, my boys were able to continue their math lessons without my help. I didn’t need to worry about scheduling certain workbook pages. I didn’t need to worry about searching for and pairing random videos with lessons to teach new concepts. Nope. Using CTC Math for my kids really took a load off my shoulders that week (and beyond!) so I could focus on helping my extended family without being distracted about my kids homeschool lessons.

  • It’s Affordable
    • Hear me out. I will totally purchase pricey homeschool curriculum if I believe it’s a great fit for my family, but…I am also ALL ABOUT taking advantage of a great deal on a quality curriculum. If you’re interested in trying out the CTC Math curriculum for your family, definitely consider snagging a free trial. If you’re ready to jump in and get started, take advantage of this special offer to get the CTC Math Homeschool Family Membership for HALF PRICE. Memberships are available in both month-to-month and yearly options whether you’re signing up one child or more than one child.

Is there anything more adorable than a kid being proud of his Math award?!
  • It’s Effective
    • Since CTC Math is a full math curriculum, I know that my kids are being taught full math lessons and given appropriate assessments. Before each lesson, CTC Math provides an instructional video for my kids to view. The videos explain the new concepts and provide examples, allowing my kids to build their skills and math understanding with each and every lesson. Since I can set the “pass” grade for each lesson, my kids can check their progress on their own and repeat any lessons they didn’t pass. Being able to keep track of this on their own gives my kids an ownership of their own education. They’re SO proud when they tell me that they successfully finished their lessons for the day (or got a new award!) and, if I’m being honest, that’s pretty cool!

How about another real-life CTC Math moment? My boys love math. Like LOVE math love math. They also love their laptops so, if they don’t have some other activity to do or aren’t outside, they’re usually playing a game on their laptop. There has been more than on occasion when I “catch” my kids “sneaking” additional math lessons because they think they’re fun or because they’re “so close” to being done a unit. I am so serious! If my kids can’t get enough of a homeschool math curriculum…I’m counting that as a WIN!

As you can tell, CTC Math has been a great fit for our busy family. My boys love it, I love it = win win for everyone! If you’re interested in trying out this awesome homeschool math curriculum for your own kids, definitely consider taking advantage of their free trial membership or score a membership for half price!

Until next time, stay safe and enjoy quality time with your family,

Thank you for the review. CTC Math just recently landed on my radar since the curriculum that works for my older two is working for my youngest and I wanted a program that was more hands-off for me. Give a busy mama a break already! Time to check out the free trial.
