Free Homeschool Printables? Get them Here!
Life can be expensive, but homeschooling doesn’t have to! If you’re on a mission to find awesome free homeschool printables well, mission accomplished! As a former teacher and current homeschooling mom, making homeschool printables is one of my favorite ways to be creative. I’m happy to share my creations with you so that you, as a homeschooling parent, can make homeschooling as meaningful, memorable, and fun for the kids without hurting the budget.
Why are they Free?
Let me start by saying…these free homeschool printables weren’t always free. A number of them have been listed for sale on various e-commerce platforms and there’s a great reason for that: my time, energy, and skill have worth.
Being a blogger & content creator isn’t always the lavish, easy life portrayed on social media. I have worked hard to build That Homeschool Family into what it is today and what it will be tomorrow. I have spent a sizeable amount of money on various trainings, software, and materials.
Being a blogger can be exhausting. And expensive.
You know what else can be exhausting? And expensive? Homeschooling.
I am all for encouraging the purchase of full curriculum, reading materials, online programs, etc. to make homeschooling a positive experience for parents & children.
Printables, though? I have historically searched out free printables to use with my kids because the budget has been tight. I get it.
Many of us live in states that don’t receive homeschool funding. Many of us live in states paying substantial taxes into the public school system. While there certainly is a need for a quality public school system, it’s just kind of a bummer to be paying for a service that we, as homeschoolers, do not use.
Yes, I understand that homeschooling was our decision to make, but still.
So, why did I make all of my homeschool printables free? Well, homeschooling shouldn’t have to be expensive to be effective. I’ve made free homeschool printable accessible to the That Homeschool Family community in an effort to help ease the stress of homeschooling.
Yes, I may lose out on some income, but it just feels right to help the homeschool community like this and I’m putting my trust into the universe that this decision is the best decision.
